Research Focus & Goals
Bruno sampled a variety of environments and surfaces at carrying conditions and used 16S rRNA gene aplicon sequencing to assess whether there are changes in the composition of the microbiome. He is part of the larger project involving multiple research questions and methods, leaving him to be the only one handling microbiome data. Ultimately, he will need to select and cultivate bacterial isolates and asses their interactions in various new conditions.
