Training

Within NFDI4Microbiota, supporting the community through education and training is a central goal. The consortium offers free training opportunities covering a broad range of topics, from Research Data Management (RDM) to Software, Infrastructure & Workflows, as well as domain-specific knowledge such as Microbial and Viral Bioinformatics and Microbial Pathogenesis & Evolution.
Our trainings are designed for different microbiology's sub-disciplines and career stages and are delivered in a variety of formats, ranging from 2-hour lectures to 1-day interactive workshops and 1-week Summer Schools. They are offered both online and in person, with on-site events taking place across Germany.
Teaching materials from past trainings are openly available and can be accessed via our Zenodo community and are listed on our Knowledge Base.
