Did you know that NFDI4Microbiota also helps shaping NFDI? For example, our speaker, Konrad Förstner is also part of the Scientific Senate of NFDI. In this way we are involved in the strategic orientation of the NFDI in general. The Scientific Senate is the substantive and strategic body of the NFDI. The main tasks include the consolidation of project progresses of the consortia, decision making regarding interdisciplinary standards and metadata standards and the decision on integration of new services into NFDI. The Scientific Senate is chaired by the Director of the Association, Prof. Dr York Sure-Vetter, and consists of twelve other experts.
